USPA NEWS - The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, traveled to Bali, in the Republic of Indonesia, from Monday November 14 to Wednesday November 16, 2022 as part of the G20 Leaders' Summit. During the Summit, the President of the Republic was able to meet with several Heads of State and Government. During this G20, President Emmanuel Macron recalled the necessary unity of the world. This is the main message sent by the G20 leaders to the international community. President Macron thanked his counterparts « I would first like to thank Indonesian President Joko Widodo for organizing this G20 summit and for bringing us all together here in Bali. I also take this opportunity to thank the entire population, I know the constraints posed by such meetings. I salute this respect the major role that Indonesia is playing this year for peace and multilateralism and for holding this G20. »

President Macron traveled to Bali to attend the G20, first and then the APEC Summit in Thailand. Upon his arrival, the French Head of State multiplied bilateral meetings with other leaders, starting with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo, host of the place, then Chinese President Xi Jinping, just after the meeting with American President Joe Biden, and its Chinese counterpart. Also, after the final G20 press conference, President Macron spoke with Anthony Albanese, the Australian PM on the sidelines of the G20, on Wednesday 16 November, with whom "he discussed the explosions in Poland and agreed to stay in close contact so that light is shed on the events.
